Get first hand insights into how digitalization has shaped the way we process data today, especially within the corporate reporting world. From data collection and validation, to report preparation, publication and communication.
To set the scene, Thomas Toomse-Smith from the Financial Reporting Council Lab (FRC Lab) will share insights into how digitalization has shaped the corporate reporting process, and shed light on what is still missing - from data collection and validation, to report preparation, publication and communication. You will get a better view on what digitalization challenges other companies are dealing with, and what opportunities they see.
Anja Meyer, responsible for Business Development & Special Projects at Management Digital Data AG (MDD), will present what role XBRL plays in the digitalization journey of reports and the increasing importance of submitting information in machine-readable formats. Furthermore, she will provide specific insights on how XBRL works and is used in practice. Finally, she will discuss the benefits and challenges of XBRL.
The second part of the event is dedicated to a moderated deep-dive discussion among participants. To get the discussion started, the CCR will present findings on the digitalization of the reporting process as gathered from CCR member companies.
Seize the opportunity to unveil benefits and challenges which may arise and how to best overcome and leverage them so that you can further increase the efficiency of your reporting process.
Registration was open to corporates only.
