What you can expect from the conference:

«Future fit in a turbulent world»

Our world is marked by turbulence – geopolitical, economic, technological, regulatory and social. Companies are challenged with making their existing business more efficient, and at the same time mastering change: pursuing clear strategic guidelines while remaining flexible enough to execute a rapid shift in course. Who can maintain a balance between resilience and agility, to stay steadfast where necessary and adaptable when opportunities arise?

Those who recognize their own strengths, specifically build upon them and have the foresight to boldly invest in the future – in innovation, sustainability, technology, and in employees with vision. Efficiency gains through artificial intelligence and automation as well as responsible handling of data are necessary prerequisites but these alone do not ensure a future-proof organization. Living with uncertainty requires thinking in scenarios: the ability to embrace not just one future but anticipate a range of options.

Reporting plays a key role in this: internally, as a management tool to monitor the direction taken; and externally, to build trust in times of transformation, communicate transparently and convey credibly where the journey is headed – whether on the originally planned route or by way of alternate paths. In view of diverging stakeholder expectations and a growing flood of data, strategically relevant narratives are becoming more significant. Consequently, impact-oriented reporting is becoming a differentiating factor.

Find inspiration and get best practice examples of how to deal with these challenges at this year’s Geschäftsberichte-Symposium at the GDI in Zurich-Rüschlikon on June 11, 2026.
